Common questions
Will this fit my refrigerator?
Match your refrigerator's model number against the list on this page, or match the part number on your current filter to the part number in the title. The model number is on a sticker inside the fridge, usually on the left wall, the ceiling of the compartment, or behind the crisper drawers. If your model isn't listed, message us before ordering and we'll confirm.
Is this the same filter the manufacturer sells?
Yes — the same part, the same part number, the same sealed packaging. The only difference is who sells it to you. We're an independent retailer rather than an authorised dealer, so we aren't bound to the manufacturer's list price.
How is this different from a compatible or aftermarket filter?
An aftermarket filter is a different product built by a different company to fit the same housing. This is the part the appliance manufacturer itself specifies, made on the same line, in the manufacturer's own box. We don't stock aftermarket filters at all.
How often should I replace it?
Every 6 months, following the manufacturer's own recommendation, or sooner if the water flow slows noticeably or the taste changes. Households that use a lot of ice and cold water may reach that point earlier. Write the date on the label when you install it — there's a space for exactly that.
Is it hard to install?
No tools, and about a minute. Pull the old filter out, take the caps off the new one, push or twist it in until it seats, then run 2–3 gallons through the dispenser to clear the air and loose carbon. Step-by-step instructions are in the Installation tab above.
Why is the first glass cloudy?
That's trapped air, not a fault, and it's normal with any new filter. It clears after you flush 2–3 gallons through the dispenser. If the water is still cloudy after that, contact us.
Will this affect my refrigerator's warranty?
This is the exact part the manufacturer specifies for your refrigerator, so it raises none of the questions an aftermarket filter can. Keep your receipt as a record of the part number you installed.
What if I order the wrong part?
Our 30-day guarantee covers it. If the part doesn't match your refrigerator, send it back unopened for a full refund.
Can I cancel the subscription?
Yes, anytime, online in your account — no phone call and no cancellation fee. We email you before each delivery so you're never charged unexpectedly, and you can skip a shipment or change how often it arrives.
